The “walking” method

2025

With the appearance of a dog in my life, a new practice of “walkinga” was discovered, which led to a transformation of my perception of the urban environment. Unconscious and forced walks gradually grew into conscious practices that began to deepen my interactions with undeveloped areas of the city and forest.

My movement became an act of consciously choosing a route, which allowed me to master the landscape as a text in which elements important to me are highlighted. In this context, I encountered the concept of mastering space as a carrier of new meanings and emotions. Each walk acquired meaning as an act of contemplation and exploration of internal horizons, opening up new understandings of existence and sensory perception. Recording and reassembling the landscape became an important part of this process of reflection. Realizing each element of the environment as an artistic practice, be it an old tree, an abandoned house or a narrow path, telling its story and evoking certain internal emotions.

This experience was recorded in my consciousness, and then reassembled into new narratives that enriched my practice. Thus, walks became not just a craving for physical movement through space, but also a deep awareness of its meanings, where each step opened up new layers of perception and understanding of the surrounding world in itself.
